IDS update #27 – January 2017

Dear Members and Friends

On behalf of all the Executive Board of the IDS, we wish to all of you a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
For 2017 we have already scheduled several activities, in which we invite all our members to actively participate. Below please find an outline of the most important ones.

New IDS studies

With the New Year, new and interesting projects have been added to the list of the IDS open studies. You can find their call and requirements for participation on our website (http://dermoscopy-ids.org/society-studies) under studies. The topics include thin nodular melanoma, nail congenital nevi, teledermoscopy, BAP-1 deficient nevi and combined nevi. Join our studies and become a part of our research group!

Upcoming official meetings

The IDS will organize 2 official meetings within 2017.
The first one will take place on Tuesday, March 2nd 2017 during the Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology in Orlando, USA.
Please find the precise date, time, location and the final program of our scientific IDS meeting here.
The second meeting will be held during the 26th EADV Congress in Geneva, Switzerland in September.

World Congress of Dermoscopy 2018

The biggest dermoscopic event is approaching and the preliminary program is now available on line. Abstract submission and application for travel grants opens on 1st of April 2017. The very early registration fee deadline has been extended until 31st of March 2017. Take advantage of it and book a seat in the global celebration of dermoscopy! http://dermoscopy-congress2018.com
