The course is, for administrative reasons, restricted to qualified dermatologists of dermatologist in training (approval by the French society of Dermatology was only obtained with this condition). The limit the number of students is 50 per year to keep it interactive.
The course 2022-23 has already started (no more application will be received).
The applications for 2023-24 are to send to luc.thomas@chu-lyon.fr between the April 1st and April 15th 2023.
Then applicants will receive a link for an online selection test (about 120 applications per year for 50 open positions) and the first 50 will be advised to register at Lyon1 university (a waiting list of 5 names will be also kept in case of cancelation of one or another among the 50).
The presential opening seminar is held on 3 days (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) in September or early October (dates for 2023 not determined yet), all the rest teaching is virtual (except the 8 hour training day in the dermatology department of Lyons) and spread along the university year.
The final exam is also online (40 multiple choice questions / 40 minutes) and usually organized during the 3rd or 4th week of june (date not determined for 2024 yet).
