IDS Update #47 – February 2021 – Study Invitation

Dear members and friends,

We want you to invite you to participate at a new interesting IDS study called:
Full Skin Examination in screening for cutaneous malignancy: A focus on Concealed Sites.
Please have a look at our studies page or follow directly the link to the study proposal .

Should examination of concealed sites (ano-genital, breast, scalp and oral mucosa) be a routine part of the full skin examination in the context of screening for cutaneous malignancy?

Fellows are invited to complete this two minute online questionnaire, in affiliation with the Melanoma Institute Australia, the University of Sydney and the International Dermoscopy Society, assessing full skin examination practices among Australian and International dermatologists.

Your responses will be informative as to standard practices of care, which is important for establishing both a collective approach to this common practice as a profession and from a medico-legal perspective. We strongly encourage to you participate.

Your responses are anonymous and will remain strictly confidential. All information collected will be non-identifiable.

The questionnaire closes in 6 weeks. Please submit the survey only once. Please click on this link to complete the questionnaire.

By completing this questionnaire you are consenting to participate in this research project. If you want any further information concerning this study or if you have any concerns related to your involvement, you can contact the study’s Principal Investigator or Co-ordinating Principal Investigator below:
